Recently, the Greenbook Blog Industry Trends report came out and included a particular finding that will resonate with most Market Research/Insights Professionals. Here’s what it said under the heading of “A Day in the Life”:
“Many assumed the promise of technology was to free up researchers from operational and administrative tasks in order to focus more on consultative and strategic functions. However, since 2018, … we have seen no evidence of that shift happening.”

Meanwhile, in recent months and quarters, the biggest sample vendors announced dramatic staff reductions backed by a big push to DIY tools that simply do not integrate with how Researchers work. In short, brands are demanding faster delivery while vendors push more work onto the Researchers’ plates. We think it’s time the industry worked better for the Researcher.
